Park Waterline Project Information Updates

Updated status in an
Email from Tom K. , MC Director 6/3/23:

We are taking this 1 step at a time in accordance with the 4th Amended Partnership Agreement (4th APA). It may lead to changing the 4th APA. Following the 4th APA we proceed as follows:
-
…we have 2 bids to complete civil engineering plan for water and sewer systems and are working to make a wise choice within the 30-day limit (by June 22, 2023).
-
MC Decides on bid. (Informs Partners of selection.)
-
Vote (by Partners) at meeting on spending over $25,000 to hire someone to do civil engineering plan. We have that money in the bank.
-
If vote at meeting fails, then we either wait for new partners to move in or look into changing 4th APA to allow work to be done on critical safety infrastructure.
-
If vote at meeting passes, we get the civil engineering plan done.
-
With civil engineering plan completed we get estimate of construction costs then proceed with determining a method of paying for the construction.
-
If an assessment is needed, then we follow 4th APA and need 66.6% of all 101 partners to say yes to collecting the needed assessment.
-
If vote fails, then we either wait for new partners to move in or look into changing 4th APA to allow work to be done on critical safety infrastructure.
I am hopeful that both votes will pass.
Tom
